The modern Celtic tree calendar is based on the concept that each letter in the Celtic ogham alphabet connects to a specific tree which in term correlate to different themes held dear in Celtic culture and mythology.
The ancients used this tree calendar as a way to mark special days of the year, and to honour the portals created by these dates and by the trees themselves.
Each tree month has its own special teachings, totems, guides, and, deities, and offers unique healing that can be accessed through ceremony and ritual. When we align with the natural, healing medicine of the earth around us we can really begin to see and understand our own, natural rhythms. For too long the earths medicine has been kept hidden from us. Her magic is still here, waiting to be discovered!
During this year long series, we will journey with each tree totem for alignment with the earth and her ancient seasons, and to illuminate aspects of our own shadow self.
HAWTHORN - 21st March - April 17th, The Fairy Tree

This month offers us the opportunity to cleanse and prepare for Beltane or summer solstice. It is a time for reflection and taking stock of what has been, and to welcome in equilibrium and strengthen our fields (inner and outer) so that we may move forward with more clarity, embodiment and purpose.
During this 90 minute transmission you will be introduced to the energy of Hawthorn, connect with the 4 directions, explore the themes of innocence and magic, be led on a guided dream journey, connect to the tree spirits and release what needs to be released in order to walk in your truest light.
The 1st session in this series is free for anyone wishing to work with or be guided by Poppy and experience tree magic. All following classes in this series are included in the School of Light membership portal or can be bought individually for £22.
